Successful Planting Day & Picnic! Many Thanks!
Dear Parents,
Time flies when you are having fun! This past week went by like a flash of lightning, and I did not even thank you for coming to our planting day or picnic! A great big “thank you!” to Andrew’s grandmother for donating vegetables! The radishes are already sprouting! The Henchock family brought fertile soil and pansies, and the Skoglund family brightened up our school with glorious mums! “Thank you”, and we are grateful to all parents who joined us! The children had a wonderful time!
As always, we were fortunate with the weather for our Friday picnic. Parents and children enjoyed each other’s company! We were all amused about and grateful, of course, for the abundance of chicken: every variety of chicken was available: chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, fried chicken breasts, thighs, wings, and delicious homemade chicken salad! It was hilarious!! The delicious food was enjoyed by all! Thank you for having been a part of our family picnic. Several parents made great efforts to be with us for the planting day and for the picnic. The children were busy playing with the new balls and everone had a great time!
Just a reminder: On Tuesday, September 27th, from 6:30-7:45, we will discuss our Kindergarten program at CountrySide Montessori School, and how parents and all of us at CountrySide can work together for the benefit of our children. Please RSVP by Monday, September 26th, if you plan to attend. Thank you!
